Q-switched is a technique for obtaining a specific type of laser. Q-switched lasers can be selected in a variety of modes and wavelengths for more targeted treatment.

Conventional Q-switched lasers have nanosecond pulse widths, including Q1064, Q755, Q694, and Q532, with the following number being the wavelength of the Q-switched laser. The smaller the wavelength, the higher the melanin absorption rate and the shallower the penetration.

Principle 

Q-switched laser is an advanced laser that can effectively treat various pigmented lesions. 

Based on the principle of photoblasting, the laser can instantly penetrate the epidermis of the skin and reach the deep skin. The high energy accumulated by the laser is emitted instantaneously, and the 1064&532nm wavelength laser acts on the target tissue in a very short period of time (6ns), and the corresponding chromophore absorbs light energy and explodes and bursts instantly when heated, and a part of the (epidermal) chromophore is fragmented and released from the chromophore. The epidermis is excreted, and a part of the chromophore (in the tissue below the epidermis) is fragmented into small particles that can be phagocytosed by macrophages. After being digested by macrophages, it is finally excreted through the lymphatic circulation, and the chromophore in the diseased tissue will gradually decrease until it disappears. 

The output energy of the 1064nm laser is more concentrated, the selective destruction of pigment particles is stronger, and the treatment effect is more ideal.
