Principle of Picosecond Nd:YAG Laser Machine

The picosecond laser uses a photomechanical shock wave, or a photoshock effect, instead of a thermal effect to break the target pigment clumps into the smallest particles. One picosecond =0.01 nanosecond, which means that the picosecond speed is faster than nanosecond, the shorter the pulse width, and the larger the instantaneous energy peak.

If the pigment particles are considered rock, conventional lasers can break the rock down to the size of a pebble. The picosecond laser can break rocks into dust in a very short time, which is more easily absorbed by human cells and excreted by metabolism.
